FURIM aims to produce evidence-based knowledge in these focus areas: youth, sport, outdoor and tourism.

FURIM Institute conducts research and development activities using scientific and evidence-based methods and develops and implements projects according to the results obtained from these activities for its own areas of focus – youth, sport, outdoor and tourism.
Our areas of interest include entrepreneurship, life skills development, rural areas, capacity building, employment and social inclusion/social innovation.

Competence and Expertise Offered

FURIM also aims to develop approaches in order to solve existing problems through transformation of theory into technical knowledge and to use these approaches as solution tools through project-based works.
In collaboration with national and international organizations, HEI, sport federations and NGOs FURIM Institute develops curricula/syllabus for formal and in-formal education organizations, creates face-to-face and distance learning content, and actively participates in educational platforms.
