Norsk bulgarsk samarbeid for økt yrkesdeltakelse blant unge

En delegasjon fra Bulgaria, bestående av representanter for organisasjoner som jobber med yrkesrettet opplæring, kunst og håndverk og ungdomsorganisasjoner var nylig på studiebesøk i Norge. Målet var å lære mer om yrkesopplæring i Norge, det norske systemet for realkompetansevurdering og om måten bedrifter kan samarbeide med opplæringssteder for å sikre arbeidsplasser.

Estonia: support for developing bilateral relations with Norway

The Estonian programoperator of the NGO Programme calls for applications from Estonian civil society organisations to engage new partners from Norway and provides financial support for that purpose. International organisations may also be involved in the activity. This in an opportunity for Norwegian organizations to contribute to the development of measures addressed to improve the integration process of refugees in Estonia and reduce extremism in all its forms by providing knowledge, expertise and good examples and develop grounds for future cooperation.

Conclusions of the Regional Conference on Roma and discrimination held in Cluj, Romania

The Regional conference on Roma and discrimination, A quarter century after, analysed constructively but also critically the last 25 years of Roma public policy and programming and the challenges for the future. The event held in Cluj on the 29th and 30th of September brought together a diversity of actors involved in the area - civil society organizations implementing projects in the Roma field, NGO Fund Programme Operators, representatives of European institutions and national government, experts, researchers and activists.

We go further! Supporting education of Roma children in Slovakia

Children from socially excluded Roma localities (so-called slum settlements) face many problems during their school attendance; from a low preparedness for school, combined with insufficient support from their parents during school attendance, to a weak readiness of the schools to meet the educational needs of these children. All these result in them falling through the cracks of the education system already from the first grade.

Hungarian NGOs in Norway

19 NGOs supported by the Hungarian NGO Programme were on a study trip to Oslo between the 6th and 10th of October 2015. The participants had a tight schedule with many inspiring visits to organizations and museums. Success for Roma children in Košice, Slovakia

In Slovakia, each September, at the beginning of the school year, around 5,000 children from Roma ghettos start their first year in primary school. The majority of them have never attended nursery or kindergarten.
