Amnesty Norges engasjement i Sentral- og Øst-Europa

Med støtte fra NGO-programmene under EØS-midlene har Amnesty Norge vært partner i tre ulike prosjekter sammen med Amnesty International Polen, Amnesty International Tsjekkia og Amnesty International Slovakia. Hvert prosjekt har hatt et bestemt og målrettet fokus i samsvar med prinsippene NGO-programmene er bygget på.

Trust takes time

An estimated 18,000-20,000 individuals provide paid sexual services in Poland. Some sources quote as many as 150,000-160,000, with the number of escort agencies approximating 15,000. People offering paid sexual services are susceptible to a number of hazards in every imaginable area of life: physical, psychological and social. In 2015, a project to assist sex workers commenced in Warsaw in cooperation with the Norwegian PION, Prostitutes Interest Organization.
